Friendly staff, good breakfast however needs improvement on the bathroom
J7 plaza hotel was amazingly nice. We enjoyed everything it offered, from courteous staff willing to help, the beautiful infinity pool on top with city view, and the free breakfast was superb. The restaurant servers were very polite and helpful. The front desk reps were very accommodating, and a beautiful artistic lobby was neat. The hotel was close to shopping places, like the Mega Mall, restaurants & walking distance to FUNDADOR museum was a plus.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The bathroom had bugs, AC leaking and the tv remote had not batteries. Breakfast was very poor
Stayed here in 2 separate dates back in january. Location was great for me due to close close proximity to where i used to live. Staff were friendly and helpful. But rooms are too small, management needs to invest on new towels. Toilets are a pain, always does not work properly. shower floors was slippery. Beds were stiff. Pool on the top floor was a plus, negative thing about is there is no one up there during the day if you need assistance and no phone to call front desk. on my first stay my door did not have a key card (stayed for 5 days) and they did not have it fixed. My second stay ( 3 days) the AC took a long time to get cool and bathroom was too small. Overall it was an "ok" stay.
It was very hot throughout the hotel and they only provide one key to the room which you also need to turn on the power. All the other hotels I’ve been to have provided at least two keys if one is needed to power the room. Whenever you have to leave you have to turn off the A/C to your room and it will become extremely hot.
The pool at the roof deck was awesome! We got it to ourselves lol. There was still some construction going but we didn't mind. The staff were really polite. The breakfast was good. We haven't tried the gym tthough. Overall, we had a great stay!
This was a night out of a horror movie. All was well until bedtime. Then the people in the room next to us decided to have an all night fight. They were slamming doors and turning over furniture. At 11 pm i notified the front desk we could not sleep. The front desk apparently did nothing because at 3am we still couldn't sleep so i called again. This time they sent security i guess because it finally stopped. We got maybe 3 hours sleep and in the morning the front desk apologized. I think the hotel owes us a free nights stay along with the apology.
Room had a new paint smell. Excellent service, front desk staff contacted me after I checked out that I had forgotten my passport in the room safe. Thank you!!
From the time that we arrived in the hotel it felt like we had to call the front desk to report issues a lot of times. Sink with drain closed off, not enough tissue roll, no foot towel in the bathroom, etc. Why can’t the cleaner just provide everything we need instead of having to call (and of course tip them when they come and provide what we need) over and over?
The hotel is really beautiful, very convenient, close to everything, nice pool and bar at the roof deck, the rooms are beautiful, decent buffet breakfast, awesome dining area. can’t complain. BUT the quality of their bath tissue paper isn’t good. It disintegrates so easily. It’s like you are in a one-star hotel. And also maybe train the staffs/cleaners to make sure the guests have everything they need in the room? Thanks.
Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Housekeeping response to concerns we addressed immediately. Found it a bit strange tho to have pancit molo, pork estofado and halo halo for buffet breakfast menu. Our room had no hot water the first night and by the 2nd night we had requested to transfer rooms. Initially we were given a much small room with a terrible view. We had to demand same sized room as what we had first before they moved me to one. Why they did not do that in first place is quite annoying - we felt we were being short changed when in fact there was an available room
The location was not the greatest as it is next door to a squatter area. However, it is not far from the Megaworld Shopping Complex and a supermarket.
The dining staff service was also inconsistent. The first breakfast was excellent and the second day was sub-standard.
The bathroom was also a bit weird. When you shower, everything gets wet as there is no shower curtains or bath enclosure.
Other than that, the hotel is only 7 months old so it has a new hotel feel.
I hate the food there. The breakfast there was awful and the choices are so different from anything I’ve seen around the world including the Philippines. The property is what you would expect from the photos. It’s decent for its price.
It has a pool and good view on topmost 7th floor but access became exclusive ballroom two nights in a row. Good free breakfast with delicious local dish.
You have to deposit P1,000 and refund it when you leave; Remember this because the staff will not offer or remind you when you completed your check out. and you better have your P1,000 receipt if you ask for refund. It seems your forgetfulness could be exploited.
