By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The view, the amenities, the staff, the food - so perfect. We were so sad to leave. Everything about this place was just above & beyond all expectations. The food was beautiful. The staff also went above & beyond for all our needs. They found us transport for everything we needed, & we were able to hire a bike. They were always so kind & up for a chat to get to know us. Cannot wait to come back here (soon)!

Staff was so friendly and fun to talk to, room was super cute Spanish themed, and the entire resort was super well put together and fun to explore! The food in their little restaurant was awesome as well. Great views and nice relaxing pool and private beach. Highly recommend this place if you’re traveling to Coron!

The property is beautiful & staff is very friendly & the amenities are top notch. The pool was great, people were friendly & restaurant was good. The views are spectacular. However, we were disappointed with the cottage we were assigned. Firstly, there was no wifi, very poor hot water pressure. The net was broken and we had insects in the room & supposedly a gecko that would poop inside the cottage. Our fan was not working & AC would not cool. It is also very far away from the main town & commenting back & forth is time consuming and expensive. So I would double check the location before booking. Overall, we had a good time & we would go back (in a better cottage)

I stayed here while diving with Pirate Divers. There is a dive shop associated with the resort but I did not use it. Picked up every morning from the dock to go diving.

Perfect Getaway

Marina Del Sol was exactly the kind of place we were looking for. I’ll start off by saying if stairs bother you and you need to have a microwave or fridge in your room then maybe keep looking for somewhere else. We could not have been happier with our stay. We were away from the hustle and bustle of Coron town but still had access to all the beautiful natural resources of the island. I dove with D-divers 6 days in a row and took a private boat to Black Island with my wife the last day. Their food was so good every time and very affordable. We got our laundry done here and rented a moped to ride into town one day. They even arrange transportation to and from the airport. I highly recommend this place!

Well if you don’t mind walking up and down 60 steps to the dining area ( steep steps ) or no bottled water or coffee in your room the have at it . 800 pesos a day to rent the motorbike when everywhere else is 500 peso. Not to mention it’s double the price 180 usd to have a tv in your room. Please let me not forget the internet is practically non existent. And the food is terrible. I would suggest that Expedia remove this place from their list of hotels. If your elderly do not come to this place as you will not be staying long due to the stairs and location. Let’s not forget the open billing policy they try to impose on you ( watch your bill )

The whole stay was amazing. Staff was great and helpful. They have arranged spa, tours, room service, early breakfast delivery and packed lunch, and transportation for us. The room has a breathtaking view and the design has a mediterranean feel to it. Very unique. Now, this hotel is very far from the town and each way cost 2,500. That’s the biggest issue we had. Not their fault. All transpo service offers that price. Also the hotel is a bit run down and needs maintenance. There’s lots of tiny cracks and holes so there are lots of bugs and geckos inside the room. Be ready with bug spray. The view from the window would have been great but the windows need cleaning. Overall though, we liked our stay. We would come back

Il resort si trova immerso in un paradiso. La vista dalla vostra stanza vi sorprenderà. Al ristorante si mangia benissimo. Il cameriere Rafy ci ha consigliato sempre bene. Il ristorante e i tour sono più cari rispetto alla media di Coron. Unica cosa che mi è dispiaciuta è che mi hanno dato una informazione sbagliata per farmi fare il pieno di benzina da loro (con un bel sovrapprezzo). Sconsiglio a chi ha difficolta a deambulare poiché l'intero resort, compreso il ristorante, è costruito su diversi livelli (presenza di molte scale). E' lontano dal centro e da ogni altra struttura ricettiva, ma il resort ha tutti i confort per soggiornare al meglio. Per noi, la più bella sistemazione a palawan, la ricorderemo per sempre.

Très beau resort mais...

Très beau resort de part sa localisation éloignée, de son isolement et de sa vue. Staff au top. Par contre, les chambres mériteraient un refresh, notamment au niveau des banquettes qui ont vieilli (jaune sale), idem pour celles des terrasses et du resto, la sensation de confort y gagnerait. Autre souci : pas de wifi dans les chambres, ni resto, ni piscine donc assez handicapant.

This is a great resort with great views- easily a place you can stay at for days. The villas are scattered and very private, and the vegetation is thick and lush- plenty of flowers. The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy. I forgot my shoes after a boating trip, but couldn't remember if I had left it at the bus terminal or on the bus itself. The staff did the detective work by themselves, and the shoes were waiting for me, the very next morning. That being said, I am the first person to break the perfect 5.0 rating this resort has received, and for good reasons. I think they can do just a little more, in order to become a truly first class resort. First the menu of their restaurant could be improved with more creative cuisine, involving more vegetables- less fried, and more healthy options (e.g., less french fries). And also, I am well aware that hot water is typically not furnished on the smaller islands, but I think this resort could find a way to provide hot water. Be aware that this resort is on a steep hillside so there are a good number of steps to be traversed anywhere you go. Good exercise, though!

Nice resort with beautiful ocean views

The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and amazing views. The staff there is very helpful and polite. The swimming pool is super too. The only problem is no Wifi at the rooms but only at the Reception. I hope they can install the wifi soon. And the resort is not located at the down town. It takes one hour from the resort to the down town. If you are looking for a quite place which is away from the noises and crowds. This resort is your cup of tea. In general, It’s a very nice resort to stay.

Hidden gem in Busuanga bay

We booked 2 nights here but extended our stay straight away for another 2 nights. The staff and management are amazing and the location of the resort is stellar. The sunsets here do not disappoint. They also offer decent food and a bunch of water-activities. A hidden gem in Busuanga Bay. Will stay again soon!

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und wunderschön. Direkt am Meer und der Transfer in die Stadt kostet nicht viel. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir würden das Resort jederzeit wieder buchen.

The resort is located a bit far from Coron Town, but very close to the WW2 shipwrecks. The views from our room were amazing. Rooms are big and provided by silent aircon. We definitely recommend this resort.
