Stayed here instead of Luxembourg for a work trip to Grevenmacher and it worked out much better. Trier is very close and convenient with plenty of options for shopping and food. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Only downside was parking, which was very difficult after 6 pm, otherwise an excellent hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express Trier. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the Mosel River, which made it easy to enjoy walks along the water and take in the beautiful surroundings. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, and the rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast had a great variety of options, making for a perfect start to the day. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Trier.

A Great Stay

A wonderful clean, modern hotel serving an excellent breakfast with a great variety. Brilliant reception who went the extra mile to help Bar staff could do with improving their service though A 25 minute walk to the station and also into the city centre itself, along the riverside

A nice hotel close to the river walkway

The hotel was a lovely place overall with spacious and clean rooms. The Aircon was not working very well which made the room rather hot all night and therefore, a little uncomfortable. The breakfast was good. Hotel was around a 25 minute walk from the central area but it was a lovely walk along the river around the back of the hotel.

This was our fourth stop in Germany. They had the best breakfast, and it was included. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. It's a bit of a walk from the train station and to the Black Gate and old town, but it's safe and easy.
