This was an exceptional and intimate boutique hotel. From the day prior to our arrival when Nathan contacted us to alert us about the shutdown and strikes all over France and its impact on our arrival in Bordeaux and how to prioritize our arrival and the personal attentiveness of all of the outstanding staff each day. The spaces in the hotel are beautiful - you can imagine what the property would have been like as a mansion to its former owners. The location was excellent, and within easy walking distance from Place de Bourse, the Grand Theatre and directly across from a tram stop. The breakfast was delicious as were the cocktails in the bar. Our room was immaculate with evening turn down service while we were out for dinner each night. This is a really special hotel, not to be missed.

Great property in convenient location

We stayed at Villas Foch for two nights during a recent visit to Bordeaux. At first, I was disappointed because it is a little bit outside the main shopping area, but I quickly realized that this is a benefit. It is only a short walk to restaurants, the main attractions and shopping. The room is spacious and the staff is very helpful. Highly recommend.

On our first trip to Bordeaux we were fortunate to have found the Villas Foch. Located just off the main square, it was within walking distance of restaurants, the wine museum and wine school. The hotel arranged for several Chateaux visits and lunch each day which were excellent choices. The hotel was intimate and staff were very accommodating and very friendly.

If you prefer a boutiquey, quiet and a private stay, this could be a wonderful option. A low key upscale bar with a wide selection of drinks and beverages, refined small plates, and sublime. Lovely and yet precisely refined breakfast. Do take advantage of the temp-controlled pool and sauna in the basement after a little workouts. A hidden gem in town !

Excellent reception and service. Pablo helped us book a last-minute wine tour in Saint Emilion, which turned out perfect. Nice rooms and a good location walking distance from downtown. Minor “growing pains” from being a new hotel (only 1 month since opening at time of writing), but great experience overall and would definitely come back.

Superb. Don’t consider any other hotel!

Fantastic from start to finish. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. The staff go above and beyond (the bar wad closing just as we retuned one night and instead of saying we were too late they made drinks and brought them to our room). Every question we asked, they went above and beyond to resound and help, even carrying our bags to the tram stop one morning! It’s perfectly located, the spa facilities are lovely and the whole hotel is perfect. I couldn’t recommend a hotel more strongly.

Villas Foch is in a great location that is very walkable to all the highlights in Bordeaux. We had two rooms for our extended family. Each was comfortable but the suite was very unique and I loved the large tub. The decor was great, modern yet warm. The daily breakfast was amazing with delicious options and great service. We appreciated having valet parking so we didn’t have to deal with parking. The only aspect that could be somewhat improved is that perhaps the small indoor pool could be more utilized as a hot tub and the hours could be extended to accommodate guests after sightseeing or dinner. The communication before and during the trip was exemplary and Melissa was very helpful and attentive. Check out was a bit troubling due to being charged for breakfast despite being told it was included with our stay. We had a couple mystery charges and had little time to debate. Overall, I’d rate Villas Foch 4.8 out of 5. We would stay again!
