This property is an absolute bomber!! Located within walk distance from main sights and public transport. Staff was very welcoming and helpful from the first moment I walked in, Adam was very helpful with directions and things to do. Had one of best breakfast! Definitely recommended

Very close to main tourist areas

This hotel was absolutely ideal for my stay in Istanbul. Although it was in a quiet back lane, it was just a short walk to the main tourist attractions, as well as to the tram and metro links to the rest of the city. It did help to have Google Maps on my phone for finding things (including getting back to the hotel), as the entire area is something of a maze. Accommodation was comfortable and reasonably spacious, with most of the amenities one would want. Breakfast was good with a fascinating variety of options and although there were no tea/coffee facilities within the room, there was the opportunity to help oneself to coffee or hot water beside reception. If I visit Istanbul again, I'd certainly use the Green Parrot.

Plenty of free water bottles, Mediterranean style breakfast, and good location for exploring. Note they will suggest local tourist places for food but that is expected. Open drains in the bathrooms can have smells.

Great little hotel in Istanbul

The hotel was perfectly located near all the major sights, a short walk from the docks and 2 mins from the train station. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They made the stay better.

I recently stayed one night at the Green Parrot hotel. The room was small but clean and had a comfortable bed. There was no fridge in the room but the hotel did have free self service water water/tea/coffee available. The only downside to the room was a minor septic smell in the bathroom. The breakfast was just ok. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a back alley but is just a short walk to restaurants, bars and shops. For a 2 star hotel the Green Parrot did exceed expectation.

Mon séjour était simple. Le jeune à la réception était très gentil, serviable, attentionné. La chambre était propre, basique, trop bruyante le jour par les cris incessants des écoliers de l'école qui donne sur les portes fenêtres de la chambre. Ces derniers donnent sur une terrasse mal entretenue. Le pétit déjeuner est basique et monotone. L'adresse maps de l'hôtel, indiquée sur le site hotels.com est erronée( Normalement, L'adresse réelle est plus excentrée dans le quartier de Sirkici. Pas de balcon, pas de frigo, pas de bouillard. Le prix de la nuit est exorbitant par rapport aux hôtels du quartier de Sirkeci. Merci pour votre compréhension.

Location suited us being in the centre of the attractions we wanted to visit & there were numerous restaurant choices nearby. We walked everywhere, though there was a train station handy. We had a ground level room which was spacious, light & clean. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. Plenty of options for breakfast. If we were lucky enough to get back to Istanbul, we would be happy to stay there again

5-star service without the 5-star price!!! Highly recommend the Green Parrot and would not hesitate to stay there again! Everyone on the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to book tours, activities, or rides with them - their prices are fair and the services are excellent. The location is perfect - walking distance to main attractions and sites, and near train/subway/bus station when needed to venture out further into or out of the city. The hotel is very clean, our room was spacious and quiet and had AC, and the breakfast was delicious. And, cold bottled water is always available, which is a nice and thoughtful touch that reflects the hosts' attention to their guests. Don't look further - book here!

Clean accommodation, in the heart of historical life. The only downside was that since we left during school term time, our room overlooked the playground. But the staff changed our room and listened to our request. The staff was welcoming and kind to us. We thank them again for that.

Good value for money

Room was nice, spacious, clean, stylish. Good value for money. For a twin room (two female friends sharing) I thought there needed to be more furniture such as a table as we didn’t have much space to put our things. We also really struggled with the very large firm pillows and ended up having to use the duvet as a pillow instead, after both getting terrible neck pains. But to be fair we didn’t check with the hotel to see if they had any different pillows. The breakfast was really good.

Best value for money for a new and clean hotel. The staff was the most attentive, friendly and obliging. You can take cold bottled bottle for free anytime of the day. The night guy even made tea for us. The morning receptionist will station herself at the breakfast area to greet u and ensure that you had everything you want. They even gave us the istanbulkart for us to use and top up during our stay so we don’t have to purchase 1 for ourselves. Room was cleaned everyday and we got new towels everyday. Pls try the omelette for bfast! It’s amazing. Will definitely return is I’m back in Istanbul.

My stay at this hotel was amazing, I would highly recommend it! It’s very clean and it looks brand new. The staff was so accommodating, helpful, and nice. The breakfast was amazing & they always had water bottles and coffee/tea for free anytime. The location was so great and everything was close by. My only downside was it is hard to get a taxi to drop you close to the hotel. I will definitely be coming back!

Unser Zimmer war für seine Verhältnisse groß,sauber und das Bad wurde wahrscheinlich neu saniert. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgewogen und vielfältig. Der einzige Nachteil des hotels in der Woche zu laut,da eine Grundschule in der Nähe ist. Es hat uns nicht so weit gestört,da wir tagsüber immer unterwegs waren. Es ist sehr zentral zur blauen Moschee, Eminönü, Marmaray und der Straßenbahn. Es ist nur gut versteckt. Personal war immer höflich und hilfsbereit. Was für uns sehr positiv & überraschend war,dass wir jeden Tag freie Getränke hatten..das kenn ich nur in manchen Hotels nur mit Wasser. Wir konnten uns jederzeit bedienen.

I loved this hotel! Istanbul is a noisy city but the location was great it was a quiet place but it was located in the central. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely decorated and big. It was clean and a great experience.

Very very clean! Love that they changed the towels and sheets every single day...location was excellent too...just 10 to 15 minutes walk to all the major attractions like hagia sophia..grand bazar..sirkeci.. Breakfast was very basic..but not complaining. Ismail at the front desk was especially helpful .will definitely come back to this place again!

Hôtel bien situé, a notre arrivée on nous file une chambre au rez-de-chaussée ! On entend les bruits de l’accueil de l’ascenseur des départs et arrivées une école bruyante juste à côté de notre hôtel donc impossible de dormir pendant 5J ! Impossible de changer de chambre car l’hôtel est sois disant complet ce qui est faux car je pouvais faire une réservation aux mêmes dates que les notes le jour de notre arrivée ! Je déconseille pour les personnes qui souhaitent se reposer c’est impossible c’est très mal insonorisé
