Good location, bad communication

Check-in was 3pm but the apartment wasn't ready until almost 10pm - I understand that sometimes there are problems with cleaners, but they said at 3pm it'd be 5, then at 5.30 they said within an hour, then 7pm promised within an hour, and it went on like that. Abysmal communication from people who didn't seem to care at all. When it was finally cleaned, they didn't do a great job - there were receipts and dirt under the bed, the kitchen floor still had bits on it, there were hairs left in the bathroom and the bathroom mirror was filthy. The property also wasn't in the best condition - the door handle came out every time I tried to open the door, the mattress protectors were stained, the bed was broken and held up by a piece of wood. The apartment was also pretty noisy. However, it was in a very good place for the metro and I enjoyed having the balcony. For the price, apart from the cleaning and communication, it was ok.
