I had a wonderful stay here. The front desk staff were fantastic. A Welcome drink is always a nice touch. The location is amazing if you want to be close to everything. Beautiful and clean room. Restaurant, bar and cafe onsite were all great. The patio with fireplace was nice to enjoy a pre dinner cocktail. The bed sagged a bit but I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Lovely hotel - great staff, everything you need is there and very close to everything in downtown Charleston. The bar and restaurant is excellent and was really helpful during my stay! Will stay there again for the price for sure!

Was upgraded to a suite and the staff was very nice. Rooms have a great, sort of retro look to them. Bathroom was clean and the toiletries all smelled amazing. The water dispenser on each floor was a huge help, I get dehydrated when I’m traveling and I was visiting during a hot week. Would definitely stay again if I ever return to the area.

Nice property in historic Charleston. Liked the sparking and still water options and fruit coffee bar on floor. Sofa and bed in room not comfortable and in need of replacement. Record player and one TV remote did not work. Overall room just ok a bit small.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were great! Our room felt a bit outdated, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The location was perfect, right in downtown and close to everything. Overall, a lovely stay at a charming hotel!

Checking in to the hotel took a really long time. We arrived early and apparently that was not a good thing because we had to wait 2 hours to be checked in. The water pressure in the bathroom was horrible (pretty much a tricled in the sink) and whenever we used the shower, the part that switches the water from shower to tub, kept poppoing off. I think the hetel could use some care. Other than this, we really liked the hotel. I couldn't help wondering though, if we were given a room without a good view and made to wait to check-in because we booked with Expedia and not directly with the hotel.
