A lovely hotel in the centre of the tourist area. Easily accessible, good food and nightlife. Property was well maintained and the pool was clean. Great staff - would stay here again
good location, large room, clean
but oh boy the noise……
rooms are built around a pool / common area
noise ends around 2:00 am and starts again at 07:00 am
This little hotel right in the centre of Vientiane had a 1950s/1960s retro design of small hotels we’re back then. It has a swimming pool and all the basic comforts of a 3 star hotel. The problems were that the rooms felt they had thin walls and weren’t designed to keep the heat out and the A/C had to work hard to keep the room cool. I had trouble sleeping because of this. Also the swimming pool was cloudy, maintenance wasn’t that good on the whole place in my opinion. The staff were friendly but didn’t seem that confident on running the place.
Great little boutique hotel in the heart of town. Very close to everything and in a quiet location of town. All within a short stroll to the Mekong riverside, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Accomodation was comfortable for 3 of us. Bathroom and toilet was huge. Beds were firm and comfortable. Swimming pool was a nice addition on a hot day. Would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was the lack of communication when we were stuck at the friendship bridge waiting to be picked up by the hotel, which they didn’t show up. But other than that, staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile.

Liked: Staff & service
No safe in the room, until I asked for it. TV was a problem, Chinese brand, that no one is familiar with. Remote was the real problem. But the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great hotel tucked away behind street in quiet area. Lovely clean room, nice size pool & well tended garden. Little annoyed on arrival as Hotels.com had advertised that rooms had washer/dryer under Amenities. This was one of the reasons I had booked here as we needed washing done. Manager at reception said he would look into & fix. Laundry service available at reception for 25000 kip per kg. We paid extra ($9 Aud) for breakfast which was nice enough, but not exactly as pictured on board at reception. Nice area at reception where you have breakfast & can help yourself to tea & coffee whenever you want. Staff helpful & attentive. They organised sandwiches to take for breakfast & rang a taxi to take us to airport for an early flight. Bedding & pillows very nice. Aircon dripped in our room (607), they had placed our bath mat there, so maybe an extra bath mat would have been a good idea.
