Great place overall, pool closed with no warning.

Overall, the condo and location was amazing! My complaint is upon arrival, we found out that the pool and lazy river were not up and running. Granted, Hurricane Beryl had come through 2 weeks prior BUT there was no warning or heads up on this. We had a family trip with kids looking forward to the pool. I sent a message via hotels.com asking why I was not made aware that all amenities were not accessible at the time. This was an expensive trip and I would have loved to know that the pool was not in swimming condition. I have not heard back and still waiting on a response. Luckily, on day 2, the lazy river did open up. But like I said, overall this was a great place had everything been accessible. I know we cannot control Mother Nature but we can control communication and there was none.
