Great stay and dining experience

We had a very convenient stay at Hotel Alpenrose Wengen. We took the dinner offer which was really nice specially given the price (20 EUR per person). I particularly enjoyed the cheese buffet at the dinner. The breakfast was also very reasonable. The room was comfortable and clean.

This was a great stay!! Conveniently located 5 min walk from the train station, the rooms were cozy and the lounge area with the coffee machine was the perfect place to spe d a rainy day. Staff was super welcoming and easy to arrange transfers from hotel to train station. Dinners at the hotel are a must! Great 4 course meals for a great price. We will be back!

Fantastic hotel, great staff, picturesque location. My wife and I were originally staying for three nights but extended an extra night because of the wonderful experience at the hotel and the beauty of Wengen. Food is delicious and convenient, and we appreciated the option to dine in the hotel for dinner, especially since the meal was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely be making a return trip!

The hotel has been under continuous family ownership and management since 1880. Quite amazing. Rooms are up to date and immaculate. This may be the best hotel experience in 60 years of travel. I don’t say this lightly. The fixed menu evening meals were excellent and a bargain. Every night a different menu

First of all, the journey to this hotel is spectacular. Upon entering our room, we felt comfortable whilst surrounded by a lovely room, perfectly accented for a mountain chalet feel. This is a high quality hotel with great food, (breakfast and dinner). There is a shuttle available in the mornings to the train station. The walk isn't long, but it is up hill and we used the laundromat there; the lift helped a bit! We hope to return soon! Ursula was warm and gave us wonderful ideas on how to enjoy her village and the alps.

Hotel was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Easy walk to the station for access to the entire region and they provide service to and from if you have bags. Wengen is an underrated but spectacular town. Everywhere you look you got a view of the Lauterbrunnen valley and waterfalls. Quiet and cosy town. This hotel is in a perfect setting overlooking an amazing view. Hotel staff have also been superb and offered great service with a smile whenever I had any requests. 10/10 hotel experience.

Wonderful stay. Great meals.

When we first arrived for our 5 night sray we met many guests who return again and again.By the time we left i understood why. The area is breathtakingly beautiful and the Alpenrosr felt like home away from home. The food was amazing and half board good value.
