"Love this hotel and have stayed many times. Unfortunately our room had a shower over the bath which we’ve never had before when staying, always walk in shower. This was difficult for my husband due to knee problems. Suggest checking if this may also be difficult for you. When mentioned to reception at check out we were told they would have changed our room if we had told them. "

"Voco was a great hotel for families. It had ample access to public transport but was also within walking distance to cavil ave and the beach. Buffet breakfast was included in our stay - there was a great selection of food. Staff were friendly and super helpful. The only downside for us was that we had to keep asking for our room to be cleaned as we kept getting forgotten. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. "

"Great location and facilities. One negative is some of the rooms are a bit tired looking in particular carpets and bathroons and could do with a makeover. Our first stay (1 night) we had a reasonably significant leak with rain coming in the window in a bedroom and were just given towels and told not to worry. That was pretty poor but minor in the scheme of our whole stay."

"This is an upscale hotel. If you are looking for that, with the same clientele, this is the place for you. If you are looking for something that is Australian, this is not it - staff are mostly foreign, catering to foreigners."
