"I never leave reviews but this was truly unforgettable. We booked the private onsen room on the first floor. Simply incredible, the ultimate ryokan experience. The room, onsen, and views were beautiful. On top of that, the staff were outstanding. The dinner and breakfast in the private dining room were delicious. We were served a spread of local food that was unlike anything we have ever had. Truly the highlight of our first trip to Japan. We hope to return one day."

"This is an amazing boutique hotel. There are 12 rooms on 6 floors with reception and an excellent restaurant on the ground level. My room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and attractive/very well-designed. I opted to pay for a first-rate breakfast with the room -- the panini of the day, a salad, a mixed berry banana smoothie, and yogurt with granola. Loved it.
