"Very nice traditional house. Very clean. The host is very friendly and accommodating. However this house is best suited for 4 people or less, not for 6 people nor people that has problem going up steep stairs as the two bedrooms are upstairs. Also, with only 1 shower it is not convenient for 6 people that wanted to shower. The other two people had to find another place to stay since it was super cramped."

"Excellent property right in the middle of Kyoto. If you want to be immersed in the neighborhood in a traditional yet historic property this is the one. We traveled from USA with 7 people (3 adults and 4 kids aged 9-13). 15 minute walk to Nijo castle and 5 minute walk to Nijo station (which is 10 minutes to Kyoto station or Arashiyama).
