"It is an old hotel and needs a little maintenance, but I usually like those kind of places. The reception people, however, were not very welcoming, and asking me to bring back the parking pass was not practical (lots of stairs to do) overall they were not very servicelike."

"Lovely hotel in great location. Recepton staff very good. Breakfast staff chatted amonst themselves all morning. Spa area is really poorly designed. Walk through the pool area and downstairs with dirty shoes to a tiny "changing room" which is a few showers and toilets with a stool outside. And door opens directly on to reception area so no privacy for changing. Swimmers also drip down the stairs so an accident waiting to happen!! Some gym equipment broken. And the gym and pool don't open until 11am!!!!! Why? Not supervised so just open before breakfast! "
