"This is not a new building. Almost nothing in the Old Quarter is - that's it's charm. The property has challenges due to age, but the staff managed any issues quickly and effectively. They were always helpful and informative, and arranged better prices for bookings than we could elsewhere. Overall - highly recommended."

"Overall this place wasn’t bad. The bathroom left a lot to be desired (you have to sit sideways on the toilet), but we got a bonus bedroom that was a nice surprise. The outside wall is not insulated on top floor so it was real warm during the middle of the day and chilly at night. I imagine summer would be rough! But if you’re not picky, it’s not bad. "

They arranged for me to be picked up at the airport and they came and greeted me at the door to make sure I got in comfortably. Had an early check in with no issues. "Obviously, given the price point it is hardly going to be the Ritz-Carlton. However, we were very happy to find that all the basics were covered: - Clean, freshly made beds - Clean, en-suite bathroom and shower - All appliances working (TV, fridge, AC), although the AC was a bit loud. The location is great, there's a laundry place just round the corner and plenty of places to eat. Ideal for a short stay or (as we used it) for a nap and a shower before a late-night flight."

"The front desk receptionists really make this hotel great. They’re very welcoming, helpful and sweet. They set up a last minute tour for me and even walked me to the tour bus. My room was comfortable if not a bit noisy due to the nature of the city. They have done everything they can to mitigate that and it’s just part of visiting Hanoi. I really enjoyed being able to stand out on the balcony and take in the action with my coffee. "

"We loved the outdoor deck and picnic table. We were two couples. We each got a room that opened to a shared deck. The deck had a washing machine, which was just what we needed at this point in our travels. We enjoyed coffee from Naya downstairs and chilling together on the deck. A/C worked great.
