We stayed in a junior suite, very large room though decor a little dated. Reception staff were extremely helpful, as there had been a mix up with our room, but it was sorted out promptly and efficiently.
They were also helpful with suggestions of places to visit etc. We were very close to the town, about 3 minutes walk and there were also several places to visit within driving range. Padova is only about half an hour away! The area of the volcanic Euganic hills is beautiful, good for walking and riding. We did not eat at the hotel apart from breakfast, which was good, as there are so many different restaurants around to choose from (! The thermal pool (part indoor and part outdoor) was wonderful! about 36 degrees with massage jets and waterfalls. The mud wrap therapy was superb, totally relaxing in preparation for further treatments. They produce their own mud which is rich with minerals and are well known for this type of therapy. We tried Shiatsu and Reflexology and a couple of different types of massage - some of the best we have had! My only gripe would be that the dressing gowns were not provided free but you could hire them for €3 per day! You also have to wear a cap in the pool! I would recommend a stay of a couple of days for total relaxation - try some of the treatments!
