"The Hotel was fine and the evening meal was excellent the only let down was the fact that the hotel has stopped serving breakfasts and also the windows from my room could do with a good cleaning."

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was very run down, the floor boards were particularly creaky and everything about the property seemed run down. There were no power points near the bed and the bed was very low and too soft."

"Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between."

We were truly in awe of the place! A lot of effort has clearly gone into the décor, with high-quality bedding and thoughtful amenities throughout. We especially appreciated the generous selection of coffee, tea, and biscuits in the room, something you don’t often find in other B&Bs or hotels.
Breakfast was personally prepared by the friendly owner, Kathy and was absolutely delicious. We were impressed by the generous portions, right down to the butter and jam!
Highly recommended!

We stayed a night before visiting the Bovington Tank Museum the next morning. The owners are very friendly and the food was great. The room, though not in perfect condition, is reasonably comfortable and good enough for a night's stay. Room is a bit cold though.

Gary was very friendly and helpful. He called on the day I was checking in to check on my arrival and also recommended places to eat.
The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The bathroom is spacious but has a lot of cobwebs and some of the residents.
The bedside is really convenient but I found someone else’s finger nails on it 😓
Breakfast the next morning was hearty and set me off to a good start.
