"We were given one key - placed in a slot to keep electrics on: Fine, until one of us wanted to leave and return to the room. The room was lovely and the bathroom spacious. However, it was cold and the heater inoperative. I slept with socks on too. The towel rail was nice and hot. The ceiling light at the door didn't work and bedside lights shaded and so far from bed that reading not at all easy. In the morning the room was cold and the towel rail also. "We had a fabulous stay at MacLeod house. The house is situated on the Trump estate, the estate is very well maintained, it’s very peaceful with beautiful scenery. The hotel itself shouts luxury from the moment you step through the front door. Spotlessly clean, really friendly, helpful staff and the suite we stayed in was super comfy. Breakfast the following morning was excellent.. This hotel deserves its 5 *. We would certainly stay here again. "
