"We had a pleasant experience. I read reviews so it was exactly what was expected. It was cozy. There is coffee and a very simple breakfast bar. Exactly what I read about and expected. It's about 10 min from restaurants in shelburne so we had dinner there. The area was very pretty. Perfect for fall colors. The interior was like a bed and breakfast bedrooms that locked. I thought it was fun"

"Overall, we had a very positive experience. The property was clean, and the location was excellent. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with dishes, spices, utensils, and other essentials. Having dishwasher detergent, a sponge, and dishwashing liquid provided was also a thoughtful touch. However, there were a few issues that could be improved. The sofa bed could not be opened on the first night of our three-night stay. We contacted the onsite manager, who came the following morning to open it, but it was so uncomfortable that we chose to sleep on the couch instead. If we had brought one additional person, there would not have been enough comfortable sleeping space for everyone. The decor was somewhat outdated, and there were a few maintenance issues, including a broken bar on one of the dining room chairs, a deck blind that could not be opened, and some nonfunctional electrical outlets. Despite these drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay overall. With some updates and attention to these maintenance issues, the property could be even better."

Even though we stayed on off season, we felt there was plenty to do and see. Staff were top notch, recommending an excellent restaurant in Middlebury when the resort restaurant was closed for a wedding. Highly recommended."
