"Architecturally beautiful hotel. Our room was very clean, updated, crisp linens, good bed and pillows. We paid for the breakfast buffet and it was well worth it. I really enjoyed my stay at this Hyatt. It will be my go to whenever I need to stay near O'hare."

"Very pet friendly. Small room but fine for the 2 overnights in city. The Shower head in 1003 leaks & reduced the flow but otherwise decent. Spot Hero parking ($35 night) around the corner for easy in and out. Central location to most areas of interest @$125 value"

"After you get past the look of the hotel and embrace the history, you will appreciate staying here. The breakfast food from the only restaurant open was terrible but the food from the bar was better. The front desk employees left something to be desired but the security went above and beyond."

"This was our first booked trip as a family of 4 and our stay was excellent. Highlight of the stay was the breakfast. We wanted to get to the pool, but it got shut down early Friday night due to an accident. Hotel is in a great spot for walking around and accessing the majority of downtown Chicago. Check in and check out was easy, room was very spacious for a family of 4 and we had a great time. Embassy suites will be our first choice when planning our next stay in Chicago. Few things to point out that were little hiccups in our stay, the phone in our room had a connection issue to the front desk, no biggie as we spent most of our time out in the city. The other thing to note is the elevators, if the hotel is packed, you will be waiting for the elevator for an extended time, so just keep that in mind when planning outings in the city. Do yourself a favor and go on spot Hero and book a parking spot if your traveling with your car. Hotel valet was double the price I paid for in and out access right next door to the hotel for 2 nights. We will be back to this location for a future stay!"

"Booking was easy. Check in, no problem. Requested to be away from elevators and lobby due to traffic and events late at night. Reservation at the main indoor restaurant was poorly ran. Hostess never called my party so we were forced to take our dinner to go and eat it in our room. Thankfully the food was surprisingly good, at all locations in the hotel. Pool was great - water temp was warm (aka perfect). Loved mobile ordering food and drinks! It saved on so much time. Overall, a good experience."
