Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"Recently had a 6 night stay which was amazing. The garden & maintenance’s staff need a special mention to how well kept this property is. The dining staff go above and beyond to ensure you are informed and catered to. The room was extremely spacious, clean, tidy, private & well themed for the location. Aitutaki on a whole is beautiful and highly recommended getting scooters to check out the greater island.
Pros:
Right on the Lagoon
Staff that make you feel like family not a guest
Location is beautiful
Breakfast is great
Possible improvement from our perspective:
Inclusion of mosquito spray in public areas. Lots of mozzies around the resort. Other resorts and restaurants offer at zero charge.
A daily complimentary transfer into town, as it quiet far away from most things (although bikes are available)
We had abit of incorrect information provide to us on check in regarding scooter hire/license which saw us without transport over the weekend as everything was closed.
Extra charges added onto activity prices if you get the hotel to call and book. Generally 20$ pp each time.
Unfortunately after check out we feel the ball was dropped. Ferry guy called us into the transfer bus, but the driver dropped us off and left. Didn’t say anything to anyone, no good bye, no thanks for coming.
Apart from very minor things, the place is beautiful and the staff and warm and welcoming. "
"What i really liked was being right on the beach, the privacy from others and how comfortable it was for the 7 adults and the 2 young children. The beach was safe, with plenty of kayaks to use for free. We all felt very comfortable. Lots of lounge chairs on the beach. Everything you needed was provided for from a washing machine, pegs, dish washer and all the comforts of home. Big BBQ . A big deck and two huge up stair varenders with big tables on all decks to hang out on. I would choose this accommodation next time I holiday in Rarotonga if I am going with all the family. 5 bedrooms, Two bathrooms and big family area. you can't go wrong with this choice."
"The apartment is spacious and clean and comfortable, just on a beautiful beach and the folks are the nicest and so helpful! There are two restaurants and a little coffee shop all within walking distance. You can rent cars and scooters or bikes from these folks, they can help arrange dive or snorkel trips, enjoy their little slice of paradise!"
"Loved that it was quite and for adults only. Staff and hosts were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. So glab we picked here to stay. Would recommend for anyone wanting a fantastic experience on the island to check out staying here. Would definitely go back."
