"The perfect location with easy access to main sites and lots of lovely cafes around. We chose the deluxe room which was a great size and spacious. However, could do with having basic amenities in the room such as a kettle, water bottles etc and was very loud in the room with neighbouring construction. The shared bathrooms downstairs weren't the cleanest and could do with an upgrade. Unfortunately we were unable to access the patio on a few occasions due to it being locked (checked with staff who said it was opened). "

"I have stayed here over a number of years and i always enjoyed my stay . However I have noticed a big change now the hotel is always busy with big groups staying and the staff are doing their best but they have lost the personal touch and friendliness that use to be evident . No one bothers to remember your name or anything else for that matter. It has become quite impersonal and functional. Breakfast is very good and rooms reasonably comfortable but there is room for improvements."

"No observed reason this hotel calls itself five stars. Rated three stars by us due to answere to questions about services in the area, laundry and money change, being innaccurate or outdated; and 2) no ice available for room other than room service 8 euro plus 15 euro tax" per policy. This fee applied to ice taken out of restaurant too. Ridiculous. It is a nice basic 4 star hotel."

"Spa was not a spa, a tired swimming pool no access to any other facilities without paying more. How on earth this has won awards us beyond me. Lifts were horrific- card system meant waiting up to 20 minutes to simply go downstairs. Breakfast was great and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, some very poor greetings at breakfast by female employees who could not be bothered and challenged me on my room number ‘ stating I must be wrong’. Turned out she had mistyped- no apology just a moody point to a table to sit at. Male employees at the front were great and mini bus driver were excellent."

"This gem was hidden in the city, the area was bustling and the property felt an escape from the city rush. There is a speakeasy on the property that felt like it came straight out of the 80s…such a good time…. One word of advice for the black ppl that plan to visit, bring your own wash cloths."

"The hotel’s location was convenient, and the reception area was well designed and welcoming. However, the overall service did not meet expectations. The room was quite small and lacked basic amenities such as a refrigerator and an iron. Upon entering, there was a noticeable musty odor, and the bathroom ceiling showed visible black mold. The room also felt excessively humid, which made it uncomfortable to breathe, requiring the window to remain open for ventilation. The bed sheets were not clean, nor were the towels. I don’t think they have been washed. I stayed for only two nights and found a different hotel."
