"We went with friends. Had a great time in buxton. The hotel is very grand looking. Love the oldie worldie look. Breakfast was good. If I had one thing to say I would say the bedroom was slightly tired looking. But we was hardly in it, but if we were staying longer I would have liked it a bit better. Pretty basic. But overall we would definitely stay here again. Great location. "

"Lovely stay, feeling very relaxed. Room was very clean and comfy. Could do with a some uk plug sockets near the bedside tables. The sockets there were not usable. There were other sockets available, but not many. Breakfast was good, dinner was amazing!! Access to the indoor pool, sauna and steam room was perfect for relaxing. "

"We found the mattress on our bed to be over firm . Our room is supposed to be wheelchair accessible. However I found it difficult. The door doesn't stay open to get the chair in. The toilet/shower room is nicely appointed but we found it difficult to maneuver the wheelchair through the doorway. Breakfast was lovely. We didn't make use of the gym."

"Great staff. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Bathroom was ok: needs an extraction fan to remove steam, more towel racks and hooks would help, sink was peeling in a few places and grout in shower had a few dark spots. "

"Only short stay in readiness for early flight from Manchester Airport. Nice hotel, comfortable rooms. Only downside was the outsourcing of parking charge. As close to Airport, no issue with a charge - and actual charge was very low, just would be easier to pay with the room rather than have to log on and put CC details into another app."
