Buxton Crescent

Buxton Crescent

8/10 Good
"Stayed here again. Basically it's a nice hotel, but sensed the staff, while pleasant, are not as focussed as previously - the hotel has been taken over by Champneys. Most noticeable was the breakfast - not bad but staff seemed a bit perfunctory and tables took a while to be cleared and service just so-so. It's a glorious building and could be so special if if more attention was paid to the details."

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is amazing, for me itโ€™s almost the perfect property! The rooms are beautiful, great beds and bedding nice large bathroom. The food in the grill for both dinner and breakfast was excellent and of course the trouble taken by the bar staff to get my drink exactly as I like it was priceless! But for the overwhelming thing is the staff, in every department excellent in every way leading to a fantastic stay! This has spoilt me for other hotels. Remember this is an airport hotel, which on the whole donโ€™t have a good rep. This place would not be out of place up against many 5star city properties! A must stay in my opinion!"
