"Check-in was quick and easy - the lady who checked us in was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Our room was lovely, with a large and comfortable bed, plenty of cushions, and a peaceful, warm atmosphere. There were also tea-making facilities and a fridge, which was a nice touch. We didn’t get a chance to try the spa or gym facilities this time, but breakfast was excellent - a great variety on offer, quick service, and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs! The hotel’s central location was ideal for exploring Ambleside, with everything just a short walk away."

"Lovely quiet location, super handy for the airport. Warm welcome from the host. Super clean room, funky decor, comfy bed. Small touches like fresh milk in the in-room fridge, water and biscuits make all the difference. A lovely change from a “hotel”. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!"

"Self check instructions were clear. Room was serviced while we were out. Help via the phone was immediate when we needed it. Room clean and spacious. All very good. Only downside was that car park was a good 5-8 minute walk away… but at least there was parking as opposed to there being none. Needed window open as warm weather but that lead to noise disturbance. Of course that was due to fabulous central location - I realise you can’t have central and quiet! I’d stay again, thank you. "
