"Just a 1 night stay. Friendly people and good service. Nice room on the ground floor as I asked. Stairs are narrow so not good for persons with mobility problems. Breakfast was cooked on the spot and very tasty."

"Arrived late in the evening and found there still to be parking available - and the parking area felt very safe. Once checked in the hotel staff showed us to our room and explained where everything was in the room and where and when breakfast was served. The room was slightly dated but clean and there was tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. Staff were all lovely and we enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely friendly staff. A beautiful old historic building, but the bedrooms are in the new building. A quiet pool and small steam/sauna rooms - very welcome at the beginning and end of the day. Well maintained and very clean. "
