Nice clean hotel. Easy tram ride from Amsterdam Centraal Station. There is a canel cruise kiosk directly outside the entrance. Short walk across the street to an area full of shops, bars and restaurants.

Beautiful historic hotel in the perfect location. Walking distance to museums, park,restaurants and entertainment. Tram stops right in front, direct from Central Station. Beautiful art deco restaurant and bar, it's like stopping back in time.

The ammenities were very nice and well thought out. We were able to get in a little early which was truly appreciated. The breakfast is incredible- highly recommend adding to your stay. Excellent stay at the Clayton. Location is fantastic. Easy access (walking) to museums and to tram system. Lots of restaurants near by and great patio around the corner with multiple bars. Only down size is the noise on Friday and Saturday from the people enjoying life will keep you up.

We had a double deluxe room and it was nice, clean and they offered room service as well. Both restaurants were lovely and we met a lot of people at both spots! It's centrally located so easy to get to everything - trams, buses, or just walking around town. So much to see and do - we really could not have been happier!

Good location between canal rings and museums. The room and hotel were nice and clean. Very helpful staff. The bed was comfortable but doesn’t have a top sheet just a comforter which is too hot for me.
