The Richmond always meets expectations and the Aomori branch does not disappoint. The hotel is located within a mile from the Aomori train station, making it a nice walk or a very cheap taxi ride if you have luggage. The shopping arcade is within this walking distance, so there is no shortage of things to see and shop for after you check in. The room was clean and spacious(especially the bathroom), easily fitting two with 2 big suitcases. The Richmond is famous in our minds for the reasonably priced breakfast buffet which we took advantage of every day of our stay. We actually missed our first day due to a flight change, and although we missed out on a last minute refund, the front desk had chocolate and cookie omiyage as consolation for both me and my wife. The Richmond will always be one of the top places for us to stay anywhere in Japan.

Very pleasant stay. The amenities and service were good. The free apple juice from the drink machine on our floor was nice. The restaurants, bakery, cafe, and Lawson downstairs were very convenient. Had a slight technology issue with the self check-in/payment which required some quick re-programming with the card.

ホテルはとても綺麗で素敵なお部屋でした。フロント前にあるアメニティも充実していてよかったです。青森駅から少し遠いので高齢の母がいたのでタクシーを使いましたが、歩いても20分くらいで行けるようです。是非また利用したいと思えるホテルです。

青森駅からかなり遠く、列車利用の場合はアクセスが良いとはいえない。 ホテル周辺はお店が少なく、食事や買物にも少々難儀するだろう。 車アクセスが前提という感じである。 フロントでの情報入力機材は感度が悪い上に単語の変換変換精度も良くないため、入力にかなりの時間を取られる。とてもスムーズとはいえない。 客室は広め、ユニットバスも広めだが、ユニットバスのバスタブの底に切ってあるエンボスは摩耗しているため、滑って転倒するリスクがある。 客室内の設備は全般的に古めなので、PC等を持ち込んでの作業をしようとすると少々不便に感じるところがある。Wi-Fiの設備もあるが、速度が遅いためあまり役に立つとは言えない。結局、スマホのテザリングより速い速度が出ることは無かった。 東北地方にある他のリッチモンドホテルの立地や設備が良かっただけに、そのレベルを期待しているとかなり裏切られることになる。何となくリッチモンドホテルではない感じが拭えなかった。

朝食がすごくおいしい
ホテルの周り: 1階にはコンビニがあり非常に便利です。 1階にはパン屋さんやレストランがありました。 ホテルの隣にはそば屋があり十割そばがおいしかったです。 ホテル: 朝食はビュッフェスタイルでした。感染対策もしっかりされており安心して利用できました。クロワッサンがおいしく朝から満足でした。サラダもおいしく青森の具材を使った朝食がありました。 また利用したいです

車の駐車場が少し遠くにあり狭い駐車場で在ることと、ホテル・ロビーが5Fに在ることが不便に感じました。他は何の問題もありません。
