I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.

"We enjoyed a great 5 days at The Sands. The accommodation was spacious enough for the three of us (2 adults and a toddler). The kitchen is well equipped for self catering but there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways within close proximity. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. It is a fantastic location, with the gorgeous beach just a few steps away. Despite staying in peak season, it was really quiet at night and the livelier South Bay can be reached by bus or foot (if you like a walk). There are lots of toddler friendly points of interest near by such as the North Bay Railway, Splash park and Sealife Centre."
