"Tivemos uma ótima estadia no Porto Imperial. O café da manhã eh delicioso, e os funcionários são muito atenciosos e prestativos. Infelizmente a piscina estava em reforma quando estivemos lá. Mas o hotel eh lindo e aconchegante. "

"This was our highlight during our long trip to Brazil. This is he most beautiful place we stayed in Brazil, the way is has been decorated, every details has been thought of from the reception to the common areas to the room. Just beautiful. The gardens deserved a separate mention, I have never seen a place with such beautiful gardens, so well maintained. The pool area is great too. The staff is ok, at reception they are helpful and friendly at the pool. If they need to improve something, it is the breakfast experience. The breakfast area seems to be quite new so I guess it need more time to feel cosy; however, the staff at the breakfast are not friendly and the food is not amazing. "

"We had a lovely stay at Pousada Recanto. The staff are helpful and the breakfast was impressive, a full spread of eggs, fruit and pastries. It’s about a five minute walk to the beach and a 15 to 20 minute walk into the historic center. Rustic and friendly. "

"I had a Nice time during my stay. The hotel staff are friendly, food is awesome (just just include a kids menu at the burger house). My kid loved the game area and the pool. There are just fez improvements such as mattress (tooooo soft) and must put the dogs away from breakfast/lunch/dinner area. They bother too much for food."

"DO NOT STAY HERE unless you 1) like being bitten by insects / sleeping in insect repellent, 2) have unlimited data on your mobile phone, 3) have a deep love of cats and/or 4) have a complete disregard of your own health and safety. I've written a more thorough review on Google but a special mention to Hotels.com/Expedia for quickly refunding me for this nightmare after providing photographic evidence. Not one member of staff speaks English or understands the concept of Google translate, they'll verbally reply to you in Portuguese (it's a tourist hotspot so not unfair to ask for some to speak basic English). There are cats everywhere even though the hotel has a no pet policy and WiFi doesn't work in any of the rooms. They put this on their own website (if you Google translate it) but have failed to inform all third-party websites that are selling their rooms."
