"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. We felt really safe and the service from start to finish at valet, checkin, etc. was amazing. The views are awesome of the city skyline and also mountainous valley. This is an ideal location in downtown Phoenix right across from Symphony Hall and the Convention Center. The restaurant downstairs with indoor/outdoor bar has EXCELLENT service, food and drinks, for a hotel and is not overpriced. The rooms are spacious and bed and pillows were super comfy! Definitely staying here again."

Personal Notes: Hotel San Carlos, built in 1928, is an amazing historic hotel. Being in a place that classic Hollywood celebrities have frequented during their visits to the 48th State was just amazing. To know that I may have walked the same halls as legends such as Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, & even Humphrey Bogart is just levels of awesome. Outside of the building, there are gold stars with the names & signatures of these legends, similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Next door is Seamus McCaffrey’s, an Irish pub that was once part of the hotel itself before becoming what it is today. Delicious food there, btw. Anthony at the front desk is really knowledgeable & took me on a short tour of the lobby, showing me different areas & talking about what used to be there before Phoenix grew into the Metropolitan city we know now. He showed me pictures of celebrities & even of some of the employees that had worked there for decades before they passed away. He did mention the rumors of the hotel being haunted, but I’ll be honest with you: I didn’t experience anything myself, though I admittedly only really slept there, so maybe I was sleeping when the experiences happened. But even if it is haunted, this place is still amazing. The bed was perfect. Nice & firm, which made me drift off to sleep with such ease. According to their website, it’s a Serta Sleep mattress. The bathroom, which had a classic lo"
"Everyone was very nice and we could walk to everything we needed.
The self parking at the parking garage was a little hard to figure out. The QR code didn't scan but the attendant was able to help.
Your general manager Danielle Klus took our picture and emailed it to us because my phone was overheated. She was so nice!!!
We will stay with you again!"
"The bed was so comfortable, and the room was very very spacious. The two women at the front desk, I wish I had received their names, were both so incredibly nice. The location is good and has plenty of parking. The breakfast area had a little something for everyone. Only downside was the pool. I came in a day early for an event, hoping to just lay by the pool all day, but there are only four chairs and they have metal edges. They only give you one very small bath towel to check out and I couldn’t cover enough of the chair to get comfortable and not burn myself on the chair. That was disappointing only because I had planned on spending time there relaxing. Oh and the view from room 216 is of a concrete ball. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. (next time I would just bring my own pool towel)"
"I chose this property based on it being walking distance to the event center. The room was beautiful, bed and pillows were super comfy, and I loved the shower. No need to pack hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, or body soap. I used the paid parking and had no issues getting in and out. Front desk staff are the only employees I came in contact with, but everyone was friendly and helpful! I would stay again."
