"We stayed at the Country Comfort Hotel in Armidale for three nights in early December 2025.
Our room was an Executive King Suite with Kitchenette - and it was exceptional!
This review is specifically about that room type, as there are other room classes that we didn’t see or stay in.
The owners have set a new, very high standard for the quality that can be delivered in a regional hotel.
The building that the suites are in is a new single-storey building, behind the original two-storey motel. The room looked and felt brand new and had great features ensuring a very comfortable stay.
Amenities included T2 teas, bottled water, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and delicious biscuits. All were replenished daily.
Bathroom was great with a good shower.
Bed was very comfortable, and the block-out curtains were effective.
Reception staff and housekeeping staff were all friendly and professional in their interactions with guests.
I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, and I hope that I get to stay here again soon."
