"The hotel has a perfect location so close to plenty of restaurants and shopping, Breakfast was good. Nice pool which was quiet when we visited a few times in the afternoon. Didn’t stay for lunch or dinner as so much on offer close by. Would stay at The Leonardo again! "

"The Old Ship is a lovely hotel. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. It was hot and too noisy to have the windows open but the room had a ceiling fan which was remarkably effective. The breakfast was lovely and my veggie dishes had to be ordered especially but came super quick. My only moan is that in the room we only had 4 teabags and 4 pots of milk. No herbal tea. "

"Lovely stay, staff friendly and very helpful, we had an issue with our room quickly and smoothly room changed, New room clean and lovely only thing is room very hot fan supplied however cable so sort it wouldn’t reach anywhere near the beds and with the limited plugs. But this would not us staying in the future. Good choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water in the room. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best, the sausages appeared proper butchers nice ones, mushrooms lovely, even fried bread, fruit yogurt, pastry’s all lovely. Pool was lovely and wonderful addition to our stay, the only issue I have is I wished we stayed longer Thank you "

"All in all, our visit was enjoyable, the food was delicious and the people were very friendly. We were very impressed by the hospitality shown to us by the staff (my wife is disabled) and we will definitely return to the hotel in the future."

"Staff amazing, facilities a little dated but end of season so bound to be the case. We had our five year old grand daughter so outside games brilliant, pool brilliant and option to eat in hotel a great help. Good selection for breakfast"
