Extremely attentive staff made it seem like private concierge service. Being on a separate island was nice to be away from the bustle of town, and it's not isolated, only a 10-15 minute boat ride which is free and on-call from the hotel. Beautiful, beautiful resort

This is an old hotel, room looks like 80s. Room is barely functional. The Nile view is very close to quayside boarding and it is constantly noisy.
Last day we encountered water stoppage from midnight to next day checkout and cannot shower or flush. Staff did not offer any water except say water stoppage first time in Aswan.

Kato Waidi exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with utmost warmth and friendliness. All the staff members were respectful and kind. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.
We booked our stay through Expedia whom which caused a huge misunderstanding but the hotel staff were so calm and professional while trying to settle the issue. Nevertheless, it did not ruin our stay but simply highlighted how amazing this hotel is.
The view and ambience of the place made our stay truly...

We only stayed one night, but the hotel management was very helpful and thoughtful during our time. They made us feel very welcome. In particular, the food was excellent. Like a home cooked meal.
