Loved our stay except the elevator was out of order. We were on the 4th Floor and were unaware of the elevator issue until we checked in.

We loved the property! It was very clean and convenient to the boardwalk and beach. The only issue we had was the lack of an elevator, and we had a room on the 4th floor. My boyfriend can’t do steps so it was a struggle for him. Also there was not a an accessible bathroom, and I’m not sure if they offer any.

It really was nice for my first motel stay. It’s worth the cost for the distance to the boardwalk. Only big downside was the fact the TVs could not hook up to streaming (some could, which was confusing. But ours was just too old) - so be prepared to bring your fire stick if you like to watch movies at night. Another was the lack of hot water. I like hot water to get clean. It didn’t really get hot. It was luke warm. The stair way doors being shut at night (with the elevator broken not the motels fault so i won’t rate them down for that. Some people complained. Hey, if you pack it - be prepared to always carry it) screamed a fire risk: it made me nervous going through a dark inner stairwell with limited space, if there was a fire or emergency - it would be chaos. Otherwise the staff was friendly and it was clean. I like that the rooms were customized. I’d personally recommend an ocean view like we did because you’ll have a parking lot view otherwise. It was pretty cool to be able to see the water.

Our room had an ocean view, it was very nice. Close to the beach a plus. The heated pool looked great but too cold and rainy for us to use! Would definately go there again. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to please.

Cannot recommend this place despite the good location. We were there the second week of May. The only elevator was broken and they would not change our room to a lower floor even though there were only three rooms occupied in the entire hotel. There was no one to help with getting our luggage down three flights when we left. Also the day we departed there was no hot water.

Very clean, very cute hotel with super nice staff. Right behind the boardwalk so I loved that it was within walking distance. Great view of the ocean if you get a room on the 4th floor. Only negatives were the elevator was broken and the shower in the room I originally booked wasnt working so they proactively switched me to a comparable room with the same view and had a staff member bring up my bags. They were really on the ball with making sure there were no inconveniences despite the elevator & shower being broken. The kitchen had a coffee maker and toaster as well as a large mini fridge, small stovetop, and microwave with some dishes ready to use in the cabinets. The kiddos (teens) and I are very pleased with our stay and look forward to coming back!

The staff was exceptionally courteous, especially Anthony who went out of his way to assist us with bringing our bags up to our room since the elevator was out of service. The room was bright and sunny, beds comfortable and lots of modern conveniences. Definitely recommend this motel due to its convenient distance to all boardwalk attractions.

Great location right next to the beach/boardwalk. The room was clean, but the sheets had some stains on it. I’d probably bring my own sheets next time. As far as location though it’s spot on and right by everything.

It's close to the boardwalk. Very nice decor. We appreciated the small touches like a night light in the bathroom and dishes in the cabinet of the small kitchenette.

We enjoyed having the kitchenette to prepare and eat a casual in-room breakfast since prices in Ocean City are so high for just a simple meal. The room was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was quite large and roomy. The view from our room was not too nice, but then Ocean City is expanding/renovating many properties.

Dirty washcloth towel on bathroom floor. Moldy food still in the refrigerator, no blankets, no soap, no tissues. Very disappointed!!! Staff didn’t seem to care that we weren’t happy.

Ophelia did not stop us!
Even though our stay was during/after Ophelia, the hotel was amazing. Very cleanly, close to the beach, and the heated pool was a bonus since the ocean was so cold. The wind and rain did make a few things have the "wind blown look" but the entire area had that look. All in all, very lovely, clean, friendly place to stay, planning on coming back next year!

Awesome stay.
Incredibly clean room and well laid out for a comfortable stay—friendly front desk. Our only issue was putting our used towels out as instructed, but the cleaning crew never replaced them. Very minor issue and hardly worth mentioning. We could have just called down for replacements but did not, so our bad. Will be back next year for sure.

Great stay at Ocean 7 over the Labor Day Weekend. Very nice staff, clean rooms, great location, and we even got an early check-in. Beach tags were included, and the parking was a huge perk as well.

Is the Ocean 7 a Marriot, a Westin or a Four Seasons ? No it is not but it is really a clean, friendly, convenient hotel to stay in, location is Superb. I stayed in room 421, which was perfect, in the corner and on the 4th floor. It was nice and quiet. The room was not large but just enough. The bathroom was clean. The kitchenette was great. The door was very secure with a security card. The beds were comfortable, no issues there, pillows could be larger. The TV needs to be updated , small video screen , could not get it to fit the tv screen. The staff downstairs is awesome and pleasant. I asked for four towels, they came in 15 minutes which was great. Clean surroundings. Parking is tight in the front but there was additional parking in the back, did not have an issue during Labor Day weekend. Overall, really, a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again. Ocean City , NJ is really a great area. My and my wife's first time there. Thank you Ocean 7.

Being that Ocean 7 is a motel and not a hotel, it’s a really great place to stay with family on a budget. I made last minute plans and only stayed overnight and we had a wonderful time. Ocean 7 was welcoming from the start. The room is nicely decorated with beach themed decor and yellow accessories which I thought was really cute and diligent to put forward that kind of effort to improve the customer experience/ satisfaction. The kitchenette is so convenient if you’re staying longer. The motel is basically on the boardwalk. I’d recommend Ocean 7 for families.

This hotel is steps from the boardwalk making it so convenient. The staff is welcoming and the rooms are clean and quite nice. The only down side is there is a lot of outside light that streams into the room at night despite the shades making it a little hard to sleep. Despite this, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Property was nice. Very close to boardwalk. What i didnt like is that the daily housekeeping service offered was not adhered to. I hzd to call one day for towels to be picked up, replaced and garbage to be emptied. The next day no one came. We had a pile of dirty towels and overflowing garbage. Good thing we were only there for 3 nights. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

We stayed here two years ago and it was the same experience. The rooms are very sandy- from the very first minute stepping in, as if nobody had cleaned it. Sheets are all very stained. They don’t do daily housekeeping. They said they have towels for the pool but there were never any clean towels there, even after I went to the front desk to ask for them, they said to wait but the clean towels never came. The worst thing that happened was that I got a call from the front desk while we were out at the beach that they needed to replace a couch in our room and they needed entry between the hours of 11-2 (got the call at 11:15 so was already out for the day) which to me was ridiculous because I surely did not expect to go back and put away all of my belongings. I also didn’t want them touching my things considering they made it a point that they don’t do housekeeping. I told them I was out and didn’t want people entering the room. They called me back a couple hours later and said they needed immediate entry. I told them no and would call when I got back to the room, which I did- but they never came to replace the couch although we were there a few more days, so I guess it wasn’t that much of a priority for them, although they didn’t care to inconvenience me. It wasn’t a great experience. Location was excellent, and that was really the only good thing.
