IBIS budget hotels -- gems at a great price!
A hidden gem in Auxerre - our room overlooks the water and 2 magnificent cathedrals. Mr Tresor who checked us in was most professional and caring. Paid parking for an xtra 10 euros is right behind the bldg with super easy access to the elevator to your room. I am SOLD on these IBIS hotels. Have stayed at 5 so far. Almost 5 star quality -- hip, modern, great internet speed and friendly millennial to service you. Bravo! Ibis budget - you guys are doing a great job.

Alright for Short Stay
We usually don't stay at newer chain hotels but did this time since it was only for one night and is near the train station. The hotel is clean with helpful staff. Our room was very small and would become a little claustrophobic for a longer stay. The location was also handy for walking across the pedestrian bridge into the old town.

Highly recommend, Great location.
We’ve stayed here twice now & found it to be really good value. Although rooms tight for space, breakfast was fine. Easy to walk with cases from the train station & great location. Our room, 319, had magnificent view of river & old town.

This place smells like a dog house. Disgusting! Couldn’t open the window because of mosquitos and noise from next door bar. No sleep for you in this place! Bad smell! Not good! Money wasted!

J’ai payé ma réservation plus cher sur expedia car le petit déjeuner était compris dans le paiement et sur place on me dit que expédia m’a arnaqué et que je dois repayer le petit dej! Le parking à 10€ n’était apparemment pas compris dans le paiement alors que si j’avais réservé sur le site de l’hôtel ce serai revenu moins cher et avec parking gratuit! Quelle arnaque !!

Monsieur, lors de notre discussion de ce matin je vous ai expliqué qu'il était préférable de réserver directement sur notre site afin d'éviter des écarts de prix.
