Still a great place to stay!
Very friendly. Spoke English. Excellent breakfast & location. Reasonable price. Lots of parking. Our second stay here. First was a number of years ago. Not sure there is an elevator for the upper floors if that would be needed.

Great place to stay in the Loire region
A very nice little hotel. Lovely welcome when I arrived. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the Loire area. The evening meal and morning breakfast were extremely good. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

For us (2couples) it was a great place. Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff. Bedroom very comfortable. Restaurant was fine. Not an extensive menu but we had no problems with it. If we are ever in the area again we would be more than happy to revisit.

Great location, fabulous restaurant!
We stayed for 2 nights as a stop off on the way back from the south of France to Calais and were delighted that we did! The hotel is very well located to explore the chateaux around Azay and wider (including the "Sleeping Beauty" castle!). The staff were really excellent, being very welcoming, good humoured and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and the standard of the food was exceptional: genuinely outstanding food, prepared and served with great skill. The menu changes every day with a small choice based on what's in season, and both nights had plenty on offer. The room (a Superior Double) wasn't huge but that bath and shower were good. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

The perfect spot to explore the Loire region.
Although the room was a little on the small side, it was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed. Don't be fooled by the fact it is near a roundabout and seemly busy road! At night it is very peaceful and got an amazing nights sleep every night. The breakfast is very good! Basic, but extremely good quality, just what you need to start the day. The staff speak perfect English, but will speak with you in French if you are trying to learn. The beautiful town by the river of Azay Le Rideau, is very close, a 10 minute walk and has some nice cafes, bars and traditional shops, as well as a beautiful Chateau. If this area isn't on your radar, it should be!!

Overnight stay heading south. The hotel is away from the town centre and is quiet. We needed a good night's sleep so ideal for us.

Bonne halte dans cette belle région. Chambre confortable, repas très bien, parking sur place. Et surtout notre chat a été accueilli de façon très sympathique, et c ’est tres appréciable. Une petite promenade dans azay le rideau a complété ce bon moment.
