"DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE PRETTY PHOTOS OF THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY Worst stay we’ve ever had. We checked in and went straight out, after getting back at 1am the hotel was locked and nobody was around to let us in, we searched and shouted for 10 minutes by going round the back of the hotel (I cut my leg on a thorn bush trying to find a way in) and then finally somebody appeared just as we were about to decide we would sleep out in the car park. "We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again."

"Cosy bedroom with ensuite. Love the quiet location and a great pub across the road. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The microwave was a bit smaller than we expected but worked."
