"Property is on a great location only issue was both bridges connecting the hotel to the beach were destroyed at time of visit requiring all guests to take shuttle. Additionally for a five star resort I would have expected the basics: continuous pool service from the bar w out need to go to the bar or flagging someone down. Likewise at the beach as these are just normal for any five star resort. Not a show stopper but an opportunity for the management to provide five star service to their guests while increasing their bottom line."

"The booking in at reception was straightforward but we had to wait an hour for the room to be ready. Once in the room we discovered the safe did not work and the light just inside the door where the wardrobes were flickered on and off constantly. We reported this to reception the same day but nothing was done about it during our stay! There was a good choice for breakfast but it was the same every day. Staff were friendly, the rooms were kept spotless, as was the pool area. Overall we had a good stay at hotel Marana."
