"The property gardens are stunning. The food, even if they did not have a vast selection, was amazing. The rooms could use a renovation. Nothing was broken or anything, but you could see the wear and tear on the furniture."

"The accommodations and staff were great ! It’s a beautiful property, food in dining room was very good. We were able to take walks along the beach. Drawbacks would be that the beach was rough w shells but wearing water shoes helped. Wine was very expensive! We were warned but it was still a shock !"

"Our stay at LUX was exceptional. The amenities are clean, the staff is ultra nice. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best we’ve visited. We were there for our honeymoon and for my husband’s birthday and we were spoiled with so many surprises, like champagne, cake, massages, cocktails mixing class and a number of other things. There is also so much to do, that if you wish, you don’t have to leave the hotel. There is a program with number of events every day - for children and for adults. We visited the spa, used the tennis court, went to the cinema night. Everything was perfect during our stay."

"Wonderful beachfront resort with excellent staff and amenities. We just returned from a 4 day stay and the only downside was that the trip was not longer. "We’ve stayed at dozens of luxury hotels all over the world, and the Lux Grand Gaube is up there towards the very top of the list. The hotel design is jawdroppingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is 1st class- excellent variety and quality of dining options. Plenty of tasty veggie food. The live cooking stations are at the top of their game. The beach is spotless, plenty of spaces to relax, clear water, plenty of water activities are included. "

"All the staff were so helpful and kind to my elderly friend. We absolutely loved staying here. Facilities are amazing, people are beautiful, the scenery is outstanding and food and cocktails were plentiful!!! Would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting a special holiday in Mauritius. Exceptional family holiday

"Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)"
