"Room 22 was clean, rather noisy though. It could do with new carpet, it’s rather old & worn. Refrigerator, Microwave and TV were all great! Didn’t use the fireplace, it was a new ce option to have if needed. Would have preferred a ground floor room though!! Easy area to walk around in. Appreciate that it’s pet-friendly, especially that they don’t overcharge as many of the other places are way too expensive! That was the main reason why we chose Fireside Lodge I want to say the staff were helpful and very kind. We will definitely stay here again"

"excellent place to stay, close to the village, lake, and Bear Mountain. Room was very clean with nice toiletries, coffee, tea, fridge, and cubbies for storage. The bed was SO comfy! Only complaint would be the wifi and Netflix reception weren't good... kept buffering throughout the whole movie, so finally gave up watching."
