It would have been amazing if I had been allocated a unit at the ground floor which I requested at check I and was told there were none available. Had to climb the stairs with my luggage which was inconvenient as we are overseas travellers with big luggage.
Other than that the room was clean and well equipped

Many facilities for the kids and walking distance to sovereign hill. Walking distance to eateries too. The heater works well too. Loves to environment. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful too.

I was very satisfied with the charming historic building, the interior design, the central location, and the cleanliness. I booked a single room, but the bed was double-sized, and the room even had a window and a bathtub, which made my stay even more comfortable. If I visit Ballarat again, I would definitely stay here again.
