"La chambre est spacieuse et le lit confortable mais certains points négatifs donnent une mauvais impression finale : niveau de propreté moyen dans salle de bain /wc , pas assez de serviettes , la bouilloire cassée , la prise pour brancher la bouilloire défectueuse…Au sujet du petit déjeuner du choix limité "
"Although some of the main historical attractions are only about two blocks away, the area around the hotel is pretty rough. Additionally, there’s nothing in the way of food or markets in the immediate area. There is a big shopping street, though, a couple of blocks to the south. It has a McDonald’s and some mini marts. All that being said, the breakfast was good, and the room was ok."
"Front staff was very friendly and helpful. Always greet with smile good hospitality. However the toilet can work abit better especially the shower stand and miss shampoo "
"The dirtiest hotel we have seen so far on our Indonesia trips (we have been easily in over 25 hotels so far).
Also the first time we requested to get new rooms ever. First room: Garbage on the floor, hairs in the bed, clear sign of sheets not changed, walls need repainting, tv screen dirty, used guest shoes, huge spider webs in corners, dusty windows, stsins in bath room snd towels etc. etc.
Management either does not know better or does not care. It is one thing that some parts need...

"Goodish property with nice staff. Probably not ideal if you’re a bule. Roof top pool is lovely but closes at 7pm. It’s adjacent to the bar which is a bit uncomfortable to swim in when there a lot of fully clothed non-bule locals sitting there… $9.50 AUD for one stubbie of local beer. Breakfast offerings were ok but we skipped the second morning as it was dominated by local food and not that appealing to kids. Interestingly initially they didn’t want to honour the part of the booking through Expedia that included breakfast for two rooms but they did in the end (after taking a photo of the booking confirmation from Expedia on my phone).
Tried to book a massage in the early afternoon but was told they were full (the advertising in the room says it’s a 24 hour service - either in the hotel or on your room). Might have been a language barrier there?
The drain in my shower was open (not sure where the cover went?). Soundproofing needed too. Was quite noisy with the traffic. All of this was in a ‘privilege’ room (on the third floor) too. Beds were comfy (two singles but only one bath robe?). Cute gift shop in the lobby.
Purportedly waking distance to the famous Braga Street but the streets are not safely walkable (heavy traffic, uneven footpaths that stop suddenly).
Our checkout was at midday and sure enough at 1201pm as we were exiting our room reception was calling to remind us to check out….
Management need to probably chat to the team to ensure things are more seamless.
