Rooms and hallways smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke and the air purifier in the room smelled heavily of mildew, making the room smell even worse after turning it on. The strength of both smells was enough to give our group headaches. "Staff was friendly at check-in. Not fluent in English, so have your translator app ready. Hotel was close to the airport and easy to get to the highway. Only a $13 Uber (18,400 KRW) ride to Gimhae Int'l airport. Bed sheets were clean and floor and bathroom counter seemed clean.
However, it is about a mile from any food options, the hallways and stairs were piled with linen, and the bathroom had a lot of mildew. There was linen on the stairs and hallways - very odd. The towels in the bathroom are all very old, cut-up towels with frayed edges from various hotels. The shower is next to the toilet and sprays water over the outlet to which the toilet controls are plugged into. Room lighting controls were all on or all off, and the room temperature control did not work other than on/off."
