I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It sits in a beautiful area surrounded by excellent wineries. Every detail of the hotel is perfect, from the rooms to the dining to the common areas, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I hope to come back soon.

What a magnificent place. We had the most amazing stay at COMO Castello del Nero. The property is exquisite and was redone during Covid. The views are incredible. The food was OUTSTANDING - cannot stress that enough. Such a great location. Did not want to leave. The hotel staff were so helpful in helping to organize our activities and accommodate us. We had the best time and hope to be back soon.

Nice hotel and good service. Nice, good size rooms.My only comments is to be aware that noise isolation is very poor in the rooms. So you can hear all the conversations in the hallways and sometimes in the next rooms.

Unique beautiful setting. Fantastic staff. 30 minute drive from Florence and definitely worth it!! Hotel is 50 restored Tuscan style room. Everything was perfect. It I had on criticism, it would be the pool side menu!!

This place is not worth the money , they did not bother to tell us about the free shuttle bus service to florence or about wine tastings they offer when i specifically asked about that interest , our bike broke down near the hotel and we called them to see if they can pick us up and they said we have to pay for a taxi , everything is extra , including the hot tub The staff is not friendly , and the restaurant is so small they fill up right away and tell you they have no space

This property is beautiful and the staff is welcoming. It is a special place. Our room was lovely with a gorgeous view. We had dinner at the casual restaurant; the food and view were wonderful.

Couldn't have asked for anything more.. perfection
The hotel is simply perfection - we stayed in room 402 with a lovely outside terrace and the most beautiful views of Tuscany. The walks were great, the spa perfect and the food and wine were amazing but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. I sent so many emails prior to my stay to ensure it was perfect for my husbands 40th birthday and Giulia was so helpful, she arranged everything for me, helped me pick the perfect room, helped me pick a wine tour at Il Balzini (which was just what I wanted) sorted a driver for me - nothing was too much trouble and I can't thank her enough! Alberto on the front desk when we arrived was great - really funny and welcoming! Lorenzo, the head bar man was also an exceptional addition to your team and also Nicola at the Taverna. Everything is so very expensive but then there is so much attention to detail and it really is an exceptional 5 star hotel - I wanted to make my husbands birthday memorable and it really was - so thank you very much for that!

Amazing staff
All the staff are amazing and will do their utmost to make your stay memorable. Prior to arrival I was communicating with the conceriege regarding various things we were interested in doing. They arranged a car rental for us with delivery at the hotel. Plus I made reservations at La Torre, their Michelin Star restaurant to celebrate my wife’s 50 birthday. Upon checking in, we were upgraded to a suite. A very nice surprise. As well, we were told our car rental was upgraded as well! On the day of my wife’s birthday we were out for the afternoon. When we returned there was a personalized birthday cake and balloon from the hotel. The property is slightly remote, but that is the charm. Where else can you sit on the terrace having breakfast overlooking the vineyards and olive groves. A fantastic overall experience.

Amazing hotel
We loved our five-night stay at Castello del Nero. From the moment we arrived, we received excellent service from the staff, probably one of the best experiences we've had. They were attentive to every need with professional yet warm demeanors. The facilities were beautiful and our room was surprisingly large, especially the bathroom, as most others we'd stayed in were very small. The concierge arranged travel for us and we were very pleased with the services they organized. The food was amazing--we ate in their Michelin-starred restaurant and also their taverna. Even when we wanted to eat at an odd time, they were ready to accommodate us as the only two in the bar area. We availed ourselves of their spa services as well, which we found top-notch. The grounds, the views, the hiking trails, the atmosphere....we loved it all and would return again gladly!

Extremely elegant and worth the ££££
The highlight for us was eating at the Michelin star restaurant. I'm fortunate enough to have rated at quite a few Michelin restaurants but this was up there with the best and I thought the value for money was exceptional. The whole hotel is stunning and everything is of the very highest quality in standard and service. It's extremely expensive but deserves its place as a world renowned hotel.
