My wife and I recently stayed for two nights at TWO Hotel Barcelona by Axel, and we want to share our experience. Overall, it was a pleasant hotel with a clean room and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean too, and the amenities were nice. Everything felt new and well-maintained. The location was fantastic, with lots of cool places around to explore. The hotel is inclusive and welcomes everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation.
We were kindly upgraded to a room with a balcony view, which was a nice touch. Although the hotel has a rooftop pool, gym, and spa, we didn't have the chance to use them.
However, we did have some issues with communication through the Expedia App. For example, the room had a mini bar with no prices listed. We tried to contact the hotel to ask about the prices, but we didn't get a response until the morning we were leaving. This was disappointing.
The staff at TWO Hotel Barcelona by Axel were not very talkative and it was hard to communicate with them. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience when we asked for ice to help with my lower back pain inflammation. The hotel receptionist, who was also the bartender, told us to go to the supermarket instead of helping us. If it weren't for this ice issue, we would have given the hotel a five-star rating.
In conclusion, our stay at TWO Hotel Barcelona by Axel was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a great location. It's inclusive and welcoming to all guests.
