Ad states desk open 24 hours, 730 am had to call multiple times to wake someone then needed to wait 1 hr for person to arrive to check luggage. Ad states multilingual staff person spoke no English and made no attempts to help us translate

The room was very clean, small no frills kind of room but perfect for s good night sleep. Got there late around 10 for check in and after calling the number provided, Junior came quickly to meet me and get me set up. Would stay there again

Great location, walking distance from key sights, quiet, Communal fridge and microwave available, building good security measures. Neat but not clean and no housekeeping at all during our 3 night stay.

I was suspicious after reading the reviews but I booked the double room with balcony and have zero complaints. I had a very late check in of 10.30pm and one of the guys came over and checked me in without issues (I used the number on the door to call to advise I had arrived) and within 10mins they were in and checking me in. Perfect spacious room with cute little balcony. Its a no fuss accomodation. Has everything you need for 1 or 2 people. I was a solo traveller overnight. Room is spacious, comfortable bed, pillows, bathroom, has aircon and TV and toiletries. I would definitely stay here again and it's very well priced. Those complaining are skimping out and staying in places where its "you get what you pay for".

We had a room with a private bathroom and balcony. It wasn’t fancy, but simple and clean, all of the basics you need. Seemed to be good value from other places I looked at when booking. The staff member at check in was very friendly and helpful! Would stay here again :)

We needed a quick night before boarding a plane and Diputación made possible. Quiet, clean and friendly - this is a hostal I would consider again.

We did not like the bath tub was very sleepery, the hot water wasn't available at night and the A/C doesn't work, lucky is winter and we sleept with the door open to refresh the room.

The building was locked and there was a phone number to call but I could not call from my American number. Thankfully another host was leaving the building and he called the staff for me. I had to wait approximately 15 mins for someone to come and do the check in for me. The room was basic but clean. The curtains though need to be washed.

Decent hostel in central Barcelona in an old modernista building. Clean + comfy. Could use a coat of paint here + there along the walls. Desk is not staffed before 3PM, so if you don't have a cellphone that works in Europe, good luck getting in touch with someone.

Me llamaron para saber a que hora llegaría, le dije claramente entre las 18:-30-19h, pesima atención telefonica. Llegue ahí a las 18:45 y no había nadie tuve que esperar hasta las 19h. Las toallas estaban sucias (nos las cambiaron), la sabana tambien estaba sucia (nos dieron recambio para cambiar), la puerta del baño se quedo bloqueada, no se podía ni abrir ni cerrar. No volvere nunca mas, yo y mi pareja hemos salido horrorizados del servicio y la habitación.

The hot shower didn’t working on Sunday
The location is quite convenient and several metro station nearby. It is also convenient to go sightseeing or airport by bus. The hotel is small but cozy enough to worth the price. The only problem is that the shower ran out of hot water on Sunday and hotel could not fix the problem because the technician was not working on Sunday. We had to take a quick cold shower in winter. Hope the hotel can improve this kind of emergency.

It was great. Clean and comfortable. José, the manager and keeper of the hostal was super nice. He went out of his way to accommodate us and very friendly. José deserves all the compliments he can receive, he helped us a lot.

A very good hotel for family, value for money.
The location is very convenient with 3 minutes walk to supermarket, 15 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia, 15 minutes walk to Aerobus Station which means easy access to Barcelona airport. Their friendly staff has been very helpful.

Hotel - fab
The hotel is around 10 to 15 min walk from the fountains. It's in the middle of where the locals are, lots of shops and supermarkets and places to eat, feels like spain not a busy city. So best of both worlds if you stay here you can leave the busy centre and go back to a fab little area and see the real barcelona. Hotel was quiet and rooms were clean. The man who was running it was so helpful I have to give him a 5 star. Thank you for my stay and yes I would return again. Great little place.

Didn't like the location, not really ideal for someone visiting and wanting to see Barcelona. The rooms were a lot smaller and not clean as pictured, at least not for the price I pad per night, over $100 a night. I've stayed in better motels and hostels for under $40 a night. Location lacks everything. However, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and I think he tries his best to keep it nice and as clean as possible. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend.
