The location was excellent. The square it’s located on is quiet yet in a central location. 4 min walk to the metro. The breakfast was good. Typical European breakfast. I took off 2 stars because the walls were so thin between the rooms. We can hear everything happening in the neighbouring rooms. It helps that we were very tired by the end of the day and would just crash but I can see how that would be annoying. The rooms weren’t the cleanest.

What a lovely stay, this hotel is located near the ramblas. Near the market where they sell all kinds of goods. Clean safe elegant and convenient location a must stay.

The hotel is in a very great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean though it was quite small. Our room had a cozy patio which was very nice on sunny days. Overall it’s a good choice if you’d like to be close to all the happenings.

It is located in the central part of Barcelona near La Rambla. So close to Gothic Quarter and key places to visit. Right in front of a Metro station (Liceu). Staffs were so courteous and met the needs/requests immediately. We will definitely come back to stay here.

Comfortable, but bring your cleaning wipes
We stayed for two night, and was okay for the price. However I wouldn’t stay here again. The room wasn’t very clean at all, dust and mystery splashes on bathroom walls. The cleaners were very loud in the morning. The bed was comfortable however.

Nice clean hotel and aesthetic rooms with high ceilings. In a sketchy neighbourhood so just watch as you walk in and out. Across the street from a very nice café, bakery where we had breakfast and lunch everyday.

Great location in terms of La Rambla but the sqare in front of the hotel is a gathering spot for homeless people. Not threatening or harassing but disturbing.

Promising, but overall less than mediocre
The hotel was promising and just alright. Located in the gothic quarter next to an old church near the bustling street made this location both beautiful and convenient, however, it was very dingy and littered with homeless people. It wouldn't be such a thing as Barcelona has a lot of in-house people, but there is not hotel security nor is there key card access to use the elevator or stairs. The room itself was pretty enough with wonderful skylights and views that stretched all the way to the Sagrada. However, the windows look like they rarely get cleaned. Also, you can hear each of your neighbors in the rooms next door, whether it be in the shower or in their room. I can't say we had a terrible experience, but it wasn't the best. Aesthetically they were really checking off a lot of boxes, but they fell short with cleanliness and upkeep of the space. Location was just a 30 minute walk from Casa Guill and a 10 min walk to the cruise port.

Due to location next to church, many homeless people sleeping in boxes in front of hotel. They didn’t appear to be a nuisance but unsightly at best.

Great location
Great location for exploring Barcelona. Nice hotel just a shame about the homeless people in the square which is a little off putting initially. That said we were never bothered by them as we came and went. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and very close to a metro station for the sights which were a bit further away.

This hotel is quaint considering it is a renovated convent. The location is absolutely great in terms of access to restaurants and transportation etc you are in the heart of the city. However the square where the entrance of the hotel is not very appealing as many homeless person hang out there- though they kept to themselves. Note the rooms are also small which is a very popular condition in Europe.

The hotel location is superb - right next to Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. The rooms are clean and well presented, but rather small for two people, and there are minimal facilities. There's no facilities for making coffee or tea, for example, and no gym or bar. The service was fine but not as friendly as I've experienced elsewhere. It's a little on the pricey side, but I guess you are paying to be right in the centre of an amazing city.

I was not fully aware how bad the neighborhood could get but be very careful of your surroundings in La Rambla. Pickpocketing is common and the area has a lot of homeless too. But there are many restaurants and stores near the hotel. The walking distances were not bad either. My only complaint is the friendliness of the staff. It could have been better in my opinion. Also the balconies are super small. You can barely fit two people on it at once.

The room itself was perfect fine for an old hotel in a historical area. Bathroom was clean and bed comfortable. We could hear our neighbours talking and snoring at night. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this might not be the hotel for you. I slept with earplugs and that was better. By far the biggest negative with this hotel is the customer service. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. During our third evening at the hotel, I asked the front reception for an extra towel - there were only two in the room for our 4 night stay. I was told that because we were two adults we could only have two towels. I explained I would like a third to dry my long hair and the front desk reception told me I would have to wait until 11:00 am the next day to ask the manager for an extra towel. Completely shocked me. I never got a second towel. On the morning we were leaving it was pouring rain, we asked the front desk person to book us a taxi to the airport. He said it would be faster for us to walk two blocks to La Ramba to get a taxi and refused to call one. We walked to La Ramba with all our luggage in the pouring rain only to have to turn around and call a taxi ourselves to pick us up at the hotel. Taxi took 10 minutes to arrive after we called. If you’re looking for a hostel like experience, that is what you will get from this hotel.
