Poor experience compared to other hostels i’ve stayed in that are actually cheaper or with the same price. The hostel is not modern, you end up paying for many things that should be for free. I asked for a towel because it was included in the booking, they told me i should pay 4€ for it, (and 1,5€ each time you want to change it), the receptionist gave it to me when i showed the booking information. You have to have coins to be able to use the laundry service, in 2024, which costed me extra 20€ to get cash from an ATM (withdrawal fees for foreign cards). it was the only time i needed cash during my entire stay in Spain. The laundry itself costs 6€, and you have to buy detergent for 1,5€ from the reception. The storage space in the rooms is not safe, and you have to buy a Lock from the reception for 5,5€ or bring one with you which is something you don’t expect coming to a hostel in the center of BCN. it’s a shame to have that while the doors/elevators require to use the key card provided in the reception. They also refused to change the bed sheet even though i stayed for 5 nights, and asked for it after my 3rd night! The beds are not stable enough, so you keep hearing noises whenever someone is moving in theirs beds.. something I didn’t experience in others hostels. Definitely not coming back to this property, and I don’t recommend it to anyone. There are much better and cheaper options.

Good hostel
The hostel was absolutely fine, comfortable beds and very clean. Hospitality by the staff was a bit iffy but what can you expect from a hostel that has so many guests? I wish we had access to the balcony outside cleaning hours, that wasn't outlined in the description the fact you couldn't.

Counter ladies were nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is clean. The regulations of respect travel fellows not to talk on a phone or chat in room were written. It's really depends on your luck of who you got as your roommates.

It was difficult to climb to the upper bunk and even more dangerous to climb down. Upon check in I was told there was a city tax of 4.67 Euros, as well as a refundable 2 Euro keycard deposit! The lockable metal cage was secure for storing luggage, remember to bring a padlock to save a few $$$ Showers were clean and private

The stay was close by from airport as well bus stand. The stay was in the middle of city, connected to market. it was good more then expected, Mr.reception attended me very well, made sure i was comfortable. even the other staff were very sincere & friendly. The beds, washroom, showers are very well maintained. room were clean. even the other friends i made at hostel. overall i had a memorable stay,

The location cannot be beat. Right downtown by Las Ramblas in the heart of the action. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and beds have their own privacy curtain and power socket. There is also a huge wire cage under bed storage for your luggage, just bring your own lock to secure your stuff. Staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. I recommend this place to all who want a good place in downtown Barcelona.

The only thing I did like about this hostel is that it is in a good location. I was able to walk wherever I wanted to go the 2/7 days I stayed. I didn’t like the fact that the masks were not a big priority although there were signs everywhere (employees did not enforce them). I didn’t feel comfortable staying here, and it seemed everyone had something because you could hear people coughing everywhere. The snoring roommate was the last straw. I had terrible sleep because of her lol not something to blame on the hostel but people should be more considerate if they know they snore like a pig. Like come on. The place could have been kept cleaner too. Overall, it was a learning experience. I wanted to see what staying at a hostel was like, and I did not enjoy it at all. Turns out I like my privacy and my things not to be moved by an inconsiderate roommate.

My favorite hostel in europe
It's just an all around great hostel. For a digital nomad like myself I have a great internet connection to work. A comfortable bed. The room is thoroughly cleaned daily. Fantastic bar downstairs. Amazing staff. I couldn't ask for more. Two thumbs up!

all you can eat breakfast
bar the dodgy milk / overly cleaned milk dispenser and sugary cereal option made sure i got some meat for the day there is a lidl within 20 minutes walk for all your rest of day nut and sugar needs ; even REAL milk !!! plus the cheapest beer in town . sorry bout the photo comment ; cant see the euro sign on this computer keyboard

Centrally located and populated with visitors
The place to be if convenience is your top priority. This is a large hostel with numerous rooms. The only qualm that I had was that the main door of the female bathroom had to be opened to prevent steam from forming i.e. ventilation issues. This may be an issue for visitors who are weary of lack of privacy. Other than that, easy check-in and check-out service. Towel provided for free.

Great place if you're looking for a social space. It's super easy to meet people here. Service was awesome and friendly. Good wifi and air conditioning. Central location close to the metro and lots of places to eat. The bathrooms and showers were relatively clean, just smelled kind of gross. My roommates would be really loud and rowdy from late night to early am so catching sleep was only possible in the middle of the day. Not really the hostels fault but if you're looking to sleep during regular hours maybe consider that the crowd here is looking to party.

Awesome
The receptionists are great with any questions or issues you might have. The laundry and lounge were great. There's a few showers and toilets so you don't have to wait long for one to be free.
