Really lovely B and B - how a B and B should be! Small but beautifully decorated rooms with lots of nice welcoming touches.
Also great breakfast. Perfect place for a short holiday.
Brunswick House is a beautiful B&B which is the perfect mix of homely and modern. It has absolutely everything you might need, including an amazing breakfast selection all cooked fresh! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a parking space (it is a tight alley to get to the car park just be aware!)

What a wonderful place to stay a most friendly welcome. A very comfortable room at back of building so no road noise.
The best breakfast I have had a band b lots of options and superb mixed fruit. I look forward to visiting again one day
Brunswick House is in a great location in Middleton in Teesdale. Everything was first class, the room was cozy and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. Andrew was a charming host and nothing was room much trouble. Everything you could need is catered for. From drying out wet boots to a warming bath. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The area is beautiful, there is lots to do. Highly recommend.
The bedroom was cosy, warm and inviting. Shortbread cookies and fruit basket. Little fridge had sparkling and still water. No milk cartons thankfully but a bottle of milk was supplied. Bed was super comfy and pillows plump.
Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice, better than some 5* rated hotels.
Will definitely return here had the best night sleep ever !
What a fantastic B&B this is. I stayed with my sister just for one night but wished it was longer. The owner, Andrew, is such a lovely bloke and made us feel very welcome. Our room was a twin and attention to detail was amazing. We had a little fridge with fresh milk and water. There was tea and coffee, homemade biscuits and fresh fruit. Breakfast was cooked to order and was fabulous. There are pubs and a couple of restaurants nearby and Andrew provides an honesty bar in the property. We ordered a packed lunch for the next day and it was the best I’ve ever had.
We parked onsite. It was tight on the driveway but my Ford Puma was ok with it.
This place is fabulous. I highly recommend.
A one night stay at the lovely B&B. A beautifully appointed cosy king bed room. Lots of thoughtful touches from the home made biscuits, fresh milk, cotton wool balls, mints et al. Friendly host Andrew and a quality breakfast to set us up for our walk to the nearby waterfalls. Recommended.
Great stay owner was friendly helpful and attention to detail was exceptional little things like tongs in the sugar, fruit and biscuits in the room and the little fridge with a fresh milk makes all the difference would well recommend

Ok but wouldn't stay again
pretty small room (No.2) and tiny en-suit. Quite a bit of dust around the room in the unseen bits. The extras was a nice touch like a mini fridge in the room with bottled water and fresh milk, the handmade biscuits, bathrobes and cotton/buds to name but a few little extras i wasn't expecting.
